Commended for improving product experience, DuraLife’s Step-Clip System was recognized for reinventing composite deck installation. The Step-Clip System is a hidden fastener system that nails directly to deck joists enabling deck boards to be installed by stepping on them until they snap securely into place on the fastener strip. The system eliminates the need to repeatedly screw deck boards onto framing — reducing installation times by up to 50%.
DuraLife deck boards also feature CoolTracTM — a polypropylene and hardwood composite material which is engineered to stay significantly cooler than other composite deck boards while providing superior slip resistance and features variegated color and wood grain patterns that provide a wood-like appearance.
